Currently, you can unblock your Keycard with the PUK on Status desktop only, and with the recovery phrase on both mobile and desktop apps. For more information, see Keycard functionality by platform.
To prevent unauthorized access, your Keycard blocks itself after entering a wrong PIN three times. To keep using your Keycard, you must unblock it.
Once unblocked, your Keycard is ready for use, just like before it was blocked.
You can use any device running Status to unblock a Keycard. You don't have to use the device running the Status profile that the Keycard is linked to.

Open the Status app and log in to your profile.

Tap your profile picture > Keycard

Tap and hold your Keycard near the top (iPhone) or back (Android) of your phone to scan your Keycard.

Tap Unblock Keycard
. Then tap Continue

Enter the recovery phrase and tap Continue

Enter and confirm your new Keycard PIN.

If the Keycard stores the keys of your profile, configure your device's biometrics (fingerprint, face or other) to fill in your password. To enable biometrics later, tap Maybe later

Tap Scan Keycard
. Then tap and hold your Keycard again against the back of your phone. 6
