Customize your channel

You can only customize channels using Status desktop.

As a Status Community Owner, you can create channels in your community, organize channels into categories and customize these channels and categories as you need.

Read Delete a channel from your community if you want to delete channels.

    From the navigation sidebar, click your community.
  2. 2
    Right-click the channel, then click
    Edit channel
    .
  3. 3
    You can change the
    name
    ,
    colour
    ,
    emoji
     and
    description
     for your community channel. The
    name
     and
    description
     are mandatory fields.

    Optionally, check the box to
    Hide channel from members who don't have
    permissions to view the channel
    .

    Optionally, click
    Add permission
     to add channel permissions or click
    Edit
     to update an existing permission. Turn on or off the toggle to choose if
    Users with view-only permissions can add reactions
    .

    Click
    Save changes

You can reorder channels in your community to make the important ones more accessible.

    From the navigation sidebar, click your community.
  2. 2
    Click and hold the channel you want to reorder.
  3. 3
    Drag the channel to where you want it to be.
