You can only configure the Community History Service using Status desktop.

You may want to turn off the Community History Service to protect community members' IP addresses or when your computer runs out of storage space.

  • Your community members can't receive messages that are older than 30 days.
  • Your community members can no longer download the existing archives for historical messages.

    From the navigation sidebar, click your community.
  2. 2
    On top of the channel sidebar, click your community logo, then expand the window and click
    Edit Community
    .

    Scroll down and uncheck the
    Community history service
     box.

Turning off the Community History service significantly reduces community members' experience. You can turn it on again by checking the

 box.
