You can only use Keycard on the Status desktop app.
When you create a Status Wallet account using a Keycard, you store the key pair on the Keycard rather than on your device, protecting them from potential hackers. If you don't have a Keycard, you can order one
.
A single Keycard can hold one master key pair, but you can create multiple Wallet accounts.
Plug in your Keycard using a card reader, and allow the connection if you see a security alert from your computer.

From the tab bar, tap
Settings
>
Keycard
, then click
Create a new Keycard account with a new seed phrase
.

Create a six-digit PIN for your Keycard, and repeat the PIN to confirm. Then click
Next
.

Click
Reveal seed phrase
when you are sure no one else can see it.

Carefully write down the 12-word recovery phrase displayed on the screen. The Status app or your Keycard doesn't save this information, and you can't see it again. After you've done, click
Next
to continue.

Confirm your recovery phrase by entering the words as required. Then click
